PRESS RELEASE - OCTOBER 2017

Head Over Feels is a series that intimately portrays the messy and complex lives of characters looking for romance but who instead seem to find only revelations about themselves.

The show exclusively represents the Asian American and Latin American residents of California's San Gabriel Valley.

Each episode provides a unique narration with an unfiltered perspective, revealing a valley full of real and fleshed out characters who share that deepest desire at the core of humanity: connection with another.

The first four episodes of the show premiered in Hollywood at a theater famous for screening films and hosting their filmmakers such as Quentin Tarantino, Matt Reeves and Alejandro G. Inarritu. 100% of ticket sales of the premiere is being donated to The Center for Reproductive Rights, The National Immigration Law Center, and The Human Rights Campaign.

The show is now available on VOD through Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, iOS, Android and other smart devices and is selling for $8. Two additional episodes are to be released this month (October 2017) as well as bonus materials.

Head Over Feels was created by award-winning Mexican American filmmaker Stephen Scott Day, whose original work has been seen by millions of people around the world.

“Representation in film and television is something that is still not being taken seriously enough in American culture,”

“My aspirations are to give a platform to the underrepresented in any way I possibly can.”

-Quotes from Stephen Scott Day featured in the September issue of Around Alhambra newspaper.
